Dr Tif Qureshi is an internationally recognised dentist, educator and pioneer in minimally invasive ortho-restorative dentistry. He qualified from King’s College London in 1992 and works in private practice near London, with a clinical focus on integrating orthodontics and restorative dentistry to preserve healthy tooth structure and improve long-term function.
As founder and Chairman of IAS Academy, Tif has helped develop a global, mentored education pathway that supports general dentists as they progress from appropriate simple cases to more comprehensive, restoratively focused orthodontic treatment. He leads and educates an international network of trainers and mentors, placing ongoing guidance and responsible case selection at the heart of clinical development.
Tif pioneered Progressive Smile Design and the Align, Bleach and Bond concept, an approach that combines tooth alignment, whitening and additive bonding to create aesthetic improvements with minimal intervention. He is also an experienced teacher of the Dahl concept and lectures internationally on clear aligners, occlusion and patient-centred treatment planning.
A past President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Tif is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and sits on the board of the British Association of Private Dentistry. His contribution to aesthetic dentistry has been recognised through several prestigious awards, including the Sverker Prize and a Lifetime Contribution to Aesthetic Dentistry award.
